At Irismedia, we are embarking on a new phase of growth and strategic development with the appointment of Nacho Zapatero as Chief Digital Officer and Sandra Corrales as Strategic Director – two moves that reinforce our commitment to an increasingly integrated, consultative and business-focused model.
In a landscape shaped by the transformation of the advertising ecosystem, where the convergence of media, data, technology, artificial intelligence, automation and creativity is redefining the role of agencies, we are strengthening our structure to continue supporting brands through a more cross-functional, strategic approach that is closely linked to tangible results.
With this new structure, we are taking another step forward in our evolution, combining the agility and personal touch of an independent agency with advanced capabilities in digital strategy, performance, analytics, martech, applied AI and advanced measurement.
The appointment of Nacho Zapatero as Chief Digital Officer reflects the agency’s commitment to placing digital transformation at the heart of its growth strategy. In this role, Nacho will lead the agency’s digital vision, driving new solutions for clients, developing technological capabilities and advancing the digital offering in areas such as data, automation, applied AI, performance, advanced measurement, attribution and conversion funnel optimisation.
Their role will be to integrate strategy, media, technology and business to help brands make better decisions, maximise the efficiency of their investments and build more robust, measurable and scalable digital ecosystems. They will also play a key role in the agency’s business development, contributing to strategic proposals, new business processes and the creation of distinctive solutions for existing and potential clients.
“Today, the challenge is no longer simply to launch digital campaigns, but to design growth models in which data, technology, media and strategy work together seamlessly. From this new position, we aim to accelerate Irismedia’s ability to turn investment into tangible business results, combining judicious innovation, advanced measurement and a deeply consultative approach for our clients”, says Nacho Zapatero, Chief Digital Officer.
At the same time, Sandra Corrales’ promotion to Strategic Director strengthens the strategic team and enhances the agency’s ability to develop communication strategies that are more relevant, effective and closely aligned with the real challenges faced by brands. In her new role, Sandra will help to advance Irismedia’s strategic vision by integrating market analysis, consumer insight, media planning, innovation and the development of high-impact value propositions.
Their role will be particularly important in identifying strategic areas, developing tailored approaches for clients, taking part in pitches, and coordinating integrated solutions that link brand objectives, audiences, channels and results.
“Brands need partners who can understand their business, anticipate changes in consumer behaviour and turn the complexity of the media landscape into clear opportunities for growth. At Irismedia, we are committed to continuing to place strategy at the heart of every decision, combining vision, data, creativity and effectiveness”, says Sandra Corrales, Strategic Director at Irismedia.
These appointments reinforce the agency’s commitment to a more consultative, innovative and results-driven model, in which media planning is integrated with capabilities in analytics, technology, performance, content, automation and applied intelligence. We are thus seeking to respond to a rapidly changing environment, where audience fragmentation, pressure to improve efficiency, the evolution of measurement models and the emergence of artificial intelligence are redefining the role of media agencies.
This new phase will be characterised by the development of in-house digital solutions, the implementation of new working methodologies, the continuous improvement of measurement and attribution models, and greater integration between strategic, digital, data and customer service teams. All of this is aimed at providing brands with a more comprehensive view of the consumer journey and a greater ability to optimise every touchpoint.
“These appointments represent a natural step in Irismedia’s development. We want to continue growing whilst remaining true to our independent roots, but with an increasingly sophisticated, technology-driven and business-focused approach”, says Rosa Llamas, Managing Director of the agency.
“The combination of Nacho’s digital leadership and Sandra’s strategic vision enables us to strengthen our ability to anticipate market trends and deliver even greater value to our clients”, adds Santos de la Torre, Managing Director of Irismedia.
These developments also come at a particularly significant time for the company, as this year we are celebrating our 20th anniversary, consolidating our position as one of Spain’s leading independent agencies. Two decades marked by constant evolution, innovation and a strategic vision focused on generating real impact for brands.
